Seeing Red

This weekend has been beautiful. It’s the summer I enjoy. There was no humidity, partially sunny skies, and a constant breeze. Enough of a chill was in the air last night to leave the windows wide open and snuggle down in the sheets.

While strolling around the Lot this weekend, I noticed a lot of swatches of red. Take a look at some of these.

That chard practically vibrates with color. I recently joked around with my gardening friend Mrs. R about starting a Goth Garden next year. With all this red, some dark foliage and delicate white blossoms here and there it may be an idea worth pursuing.
