It’s for Reals – Master Gardening, Here I Come
It finally arrived today. I received the letter I’ve been awaiting most of the summer. Michigan State University wants my tuition money. This is one of the few times I can say I’ve received a bill and have been excited about it. I have my form filled out, check written, and envelope ready to secure my place in the Master Gardener Program. Classes begin on August 29th. Woo-hoo!
Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day – July 2012
Unfortunately there will be no Bloom Day post for this month. I’m pretty sure now Summer is pure evil and is trying to kill everything bearing the resemblance of life on the Lot. Even the birds are panting and huddling under the shaded areas of trees. No rain yet and our area has received the “drought” label. The oddly mild winter has also left the rivers, lakes, and ponds at lower-than-normal levels.
To see how other gardener’s are fairing, head over to May Dreams Gardens. Hope to be able to post something from the Lot next month!
